EdgeRouter, due to it's Dual-Core 800MHz CPU with hardware IP forwarding acceleration, provides high performance - 2M packets per second (8Gbps for packets 512 Bytes or more). The EdgeRouter is rack mountable and has 8 Gigabit ethernet ports. Router works under a feature-rich EdgeOS operating system equipped with powerful, intuitive graphical user interface. Software supports as well basic network functionality as more advanced features like OSPF and BGP routing (also for IPv6) or IPSec encryption. Main Features
