  7. Water blocking tape / yarns
  8. Aramid yarns
  9. HDPE outer jacket (black), UV stabilized

OPTIX ADSS-XOTKtsdD (ADSS) cable with Aramid yarns: a light multi loose tube construction, great flexibility and durability against dragging, a central element of strengthening (FRP rod 2.1-6.0mm ), hydro-phobic gel and construction for water blocking (WB), moisture wicking yarns / damp proofing tape, reinforced by aramid yarns (the carrier element in aerial systems), fully dielectric, HDPE jacket resistance to UV radiation, temperature range from -40°C up to + 70°C, equivalent : ADSS-XOTKtsdD. Maximum installation tension: 2 700N.

The Cable System is based on the Optical Fiber Cable Color Coding ,,EIA/TIA-598" standard. Every tube contains up to 24 optical fibers filled with a hydrophobic gel to protect fibers from moisture and vibration. The center of the cable is protected against water intrusion by means of a waterproofing strip, or by moisture wicking yarns. The tubes of the cable and fillers are twisted around the central strength element -FRP rod 2.1-6.0mm. The fiber optic cable was fitted with a ripeord - athin but very strong thread embedded just below the cable jacket. The cables are designed for aerial installation on a span of up to 50 meters (2.7kKN) and for installation in primary and secondary, teletechnical canalization by pneumatic (cable blowing) and mechanical (cable jetting) methods.
