Gigabit PoE injector is a device manufactured for the needs of wireless Internet operators. As the only passive PoE device, it can provide up to 1.5A of power in an Ethernet cable in the 1 Gbit / s standard. Such an effect was achieved by using special, high-current transformers for Ethernet signal lines, manufactured in Poland at our request. The power signal is only introduced on 4 lines according to the passive PoE 100 Mbit / s, so the device is completely compatible with the slower version of the LAN.
The PoE injector meets the power requirements from 12V to 56V. A practical solution is also a housing with a height and depth of 1U and an optional bracket for mounting on a DIN rail.
As an option, the function of remote management via the LAN network of PoE power supply on each output separately and an automatic watchdog function have also been introduced. It monitors communication with devices on the given IP addresses and, in the event of no response, ICMP resets the appropriately set PoE output. This additional management option is implemented by Lan Controller - a device manufactured by Tiny Control, which has the following on the front panel: analog input, logic input and relay output - to be used according to the user's needs, e.g. detecting the opening of the cabinet, measuring the battery voltage, turning on the fan, etc. There is also a digital temperature measurement port on the 1-Wire bus with DS18B20 sensors.

RJ45 Ethernet connector
RJ45 ethernet connector is not intended for long-term load with current above 1A! We recommend using the best quality RJ45 plugs - necessarily with gold-plated pins.
