The CRS317-1G-16S+RM is equipped with the "Dual boot" option, which allows you to select the operating system you want to use - RouterOS or SwOS. If you prefer to use the device as a switch, use SwOS. If you are used to Winbox and want to use routing and other third layer protocols, run your device with RouterOS. The device is equipped with an additional processor that allows you to run a complete RouterOS system.
